Anudamini completes one year of its successful run on Doordarshan

With more than 250 commendable episodes that garnered the highest viewership amongst the TV soaps across Doordarshan at its time band , one of the most popular family shows on national television ‘Anudamini’has completed  successful one year of its telecast. The show which has successfully won over the hearts of Indian females received a multitude of love from its fans over this period.

Highly elated over the unprecedented success of the show, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jain, who is the producer of Anudamini, said, “We appreciate our loyal viewers and thank each and every team member for their support in making the year long journey of ‘Anudamini’ smooth and successful.”

Anudamini is a story of a village girl who comes to Mumbai and struggles to manage her married life. Her husband refuses to accept her, but she manages her husband and his family really well and tries to meet his expectations and style.

Mr. Jain, who is also a promising film maker, entrepreneur and a handicraft goods exporter turned into one, added, “Somewhere this is a story of those innocent Indian wives, who despite all their efforts, are not well accepted by their husbands and hence the story has been accepted widely.”

In a similar manner, Anudamini, who is the protagonist of this story, is rejected by her husband, just for the only reason that her husband doesn’t find her compatible to his style, language, or his ideas.

In quest of her identity and to break free from the patriarchal misdemeanor, Anudamini, further establishes a Tiffin service business and also tries to empower other women like her. Even though she is successful in her business, she never left her responsibilities as a Bahu and hence her character becomes more appealing.

Mr. Shalabh Shrivastava is the creative director of Anudamini. The serial is written by Mr Dhananjay Singh Masoom and Directed by Mr. Gaurav Premsri. Leading actor Supriya Kumari is playing the role of Anudamini in this serial. Supriya is a well known artist who has  done shows like Bairi Piya for Colors and Sanskar for Star Plus. While Sachin Shroff, who is playing the male lead in this serial is not only a well known personality in Ad world, but has also acted in  Tumhari Paakhi serial aired earlier on Life Ok.

The other star cast of this serial include, Deepali Sahaye (Negative role), Neena Singh (parallel lead role), Sham Malashkar (parallel lead role) and Ali Hussain (parallel lead role).
