Blood donation camp by KARTAVYA CSR club of IIM Raipur in association with Red Cross Society

Kartavya the CSR Club of Indian Institute of Management Raipur and Red Cross Society are jointly organising Blood donation camp at IIM Raipur campus on 7^th September 2016. The event is expected to host about 100-150 participants from different colleges like IIM Raipur, IIT Bhilai, GEC Raipur and from various localities of Shejbahar and others. The event is expected to start at 11 a.m. and will continue till 6p.m.

The underlining objective of organizing the camp is to spread awareness among the people as they possess many preconceived notions and awry beliefs about blood donation. This event aims to successfully transform these notions into interest, resulting into participation and hence initiating a change in people’s attitude and perception towards blood donation. The changes would go a long way percolating in the mindset of the people.

Come join your hands in making this noble cause a successful one. The gift of blood is the gift of life. Specialised doctors and nurses will be available during the entire process ensuring a happy drive to save lives. Regular donation (2-3 times in a year) lowers Cholesterol and decrease incidence of heart attack and Donor is eligible to receive one FREE unit of blood if needed for self/family/friends.

So lets save lives together  and  donate blood voluntarily because each donation counts.
